Build Your First Blockchain Game with the SDK
This page is still a draft and is still being developed; it is not intended to be consumed productively.
Now that you have the SDK installed, let’s get started building your first blockchain game!
You can write the game in any programming language you want, including C#, Python, Java, and more.
Once you have a working prototype, you can use it to test the gameplay of your game and make any necessary changes before you publish your game.
When you’re ready, you can build your game into a final version and publish it to the Journei Games ecosystem.
Before you begin, you will want to set up a blockchain account. There are several options for doing this, including using an account management tool, using an account manager, or using a decentralized exchange.
You will then want to deposit the required amount of ERC-20 compatible tokens into your account, which you can do on any of the supported exchanges.
Once you’ve set up your account, you can set up an account manager. An account manager is a third-party account management tool that helps you manage multiple accounts from a centralized location. This makes it easy to keep track of your accounts, including which ones hold the required amount of tokens.
You can then create a new blockchain game by following the steps outlined in the official documentation. Once you have a working blockchain game prototype, you can set your game up for publishing.
To publish your game, you will want to first set up an environment for development. You can do this by creating a virtual machine on your computer or cloud service, or you can use the Journei Games SDK to create an environment on your local machine. Once you have an environment set up, you can build your blockchain game and publish it to the Journei ecosystem.
Once your game is published, you can use the Journei Explorer to view your game’s details, including the address of your game’s wallet, the number of JNEI tokens held in your wallet, the amount of gas used to publish the contract, and more. You can also use the Journei SDK Games to view your game’s details, including the address of the game’s wallet and the amount of ERC-20 compatible tokens (BNB or JNEI Token) held inside. You can then use the Journei Games Explorer to view your game’s details, including the address of the game’s wallet and the amount of ERC-20 compatible tokens held inside.
